Adam Milstein’s Real Estate Business and Philanthropy

Adam Milstein is a real estate investor. He is also a philanthropist as well as a leader in the community. He was born and raised in Israel. During the Yom Kippur warfare, Mr. Milstein worked in the Israel Defense Forces. He later graduated from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology based in Haifa in 1978. Adam then migrated to the United States. Adam is an alumnus of the University of Southern California where he graduated with a Masters’ in Business Administration (MBA). Immediately after graduation, he ventured into the Real Estate business.

Mr. Milstein is currently a managing partner at Hager Pacific Properties. He also holds several leadership positions in the Israeli community living in the United States. Adam co-founded the Israeli-American Council where he also serves as the national chairman. He is an active board member of numerous organizations including Los Angeles Board of Birthright Israel, AISH Los Angeles, Jewish Funders Network, StandWithUs, AIPAC National Council and the Hasbara Foundation among other community organizations.

Being a philanthropist, he co-founded the Sifriyat Pijama B’America organization with his wife. The organization provides approximately 15,000 books written in Hebrew on a monthly basis to Israeli-Jewish-Americans families living in the United States.

Adam’s idea of Hager Pacific Properties developed in him after being undermined while looking for employment immediately after his graduation. Most employees offered him less than what undergraduate students were earning. He started off as a Real Estate Commercial broker for three years before fully investing in real estate.

The strategy of not setting specific goals has made Mr. Milstein successful. Setting specific goals limited his ability and desire to do many things. He deafened his ears to criticism and was self-driven. He worked as hard as he could. His habit of understanding problems in the business has made him a successful entrepreneur. He like being part of the solution and does not rely on people to solve his problems.

His typical days are made more satisfying when he does philanthropy activities. Adam worked hard and pushed his ideas into reality. Adam does regular follow-ups on his ideas to ensure that they are turned into reality.
